I am the daughter of Dennis & Sheila Sherwood who were great friends of Alex & Phyllis. I have great memories of Phyllis at the cottage – teaching us to waterski when we were youngsters and then playing monopoly with one of my sons years later while Alex took the rest of us for a joyride. I last saw Phyllis at the Donway when we all went for lunch with her. Unfortunately, Dennis now has Alzeheimers and had lost track of Phyllis. I just googled her name & found the recent obit. I am sorry but it is unlikely we can make it to the funeral. Just wanted to write and let you know that we are thinking of her fondly.
I taught with Phyllis in the mid-sixties in Etobicoke. I enjoyed working with her and always admired her as a teacher and a person. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing.
