Obituary
GASCHO, Lucille Evelyne ….
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful mother Lucille Evelyne Gascho, peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital on Sunday, June 3, 2018 in her 93rd year. She now joins her parents, her sister and brother, our dear father Ross Gascho and our unforgettable brother Brian Gascho. She will be greatly missed by her cherished daughter Karen Gascho of London, her much loved son Wayne Gascho (Fay) of Ingersoll and all of her extended family. She will also be very much missed by her special niece Marolyn Corriere (her second daughter) of Lewiston, NY, whose love and kindness toward our mother throughout life, will never be forgotten. Our mother will also be remembered and missed by her many friends at Kirby Manor whose caring and concern during her brief illness has been so appreciated. Her ladies lunch group, the Opals, will not be the same without her and we thank them for all of their love. Our thanks to the palliative team and LHSC – Victoria Hospital for their compassionate care and for helping our mother transition on to her next life with dignity. A special thank you and appreciation to Father Fred Howard-Smith who assisted our mother in her last rights and final prayers, providing her with great peace in her last hours. In keeping with our mother’s generous spirit, it was her wish that her body be donated to the University of Western Ontario, Body Donation Program so that others could benefit from learning from her. Cremation and a celebration of her life to be held at a later date. To all those who knew and loved our mother, we hope that you will honour her memory by extending an act of kindness at every opportunity and by living life with an open, loving, generous heart just like she did. Arrangements entrusted with A. Millard George Funeral Home, 519-433-5184. Online condolences, memories and photographs shared www.amgfh.com
