My heart and prayers are with the family. Melanie was always very proud of her daughters, I hope they can take comfort in that. I worked with Melanie at L.C.C., and would ask how the girls were doing, and she would pull up the most recent photos of them to show me!
I hope her husband, Mother and family can find comfort in knowing that she was such a kind, gentle soul, who will be missed greatly.
Melanie was a cheerful member of the Sir Isaac Brock community, and poured her heart and soul into the lives of those she saw each day. Melanie shared her workspace with me for a few months, making for many early morning and late evening conversations. I’m grateful for the many resources she shared with me, and wish her family many warm memories of a wonderful woman.
Melanie took care of our daughter in before and after school for many years.
She was very loving and patient. I am shocked and heart broken that she has left so soon. She will be missed.
My deepest condolences.
I have worked with Melanie at LCC for 17 yrs also. Wonderful person, friend, mother and wife. I remember when Melanie adopted her girls and what a proud mom she was. Always showing me pictures and talking about them. My heart and prayers go out to the 3 girls, Walter and her mom.
We have lost a special person and will never understand why she had to go.
My breath caught when I received an email from work regarding Melanie passing. I am truly saddened to hear this.I always enjoyed seeing her at work mtgs and functions. Your smile and idea sharing will be missed.
Was so saddened to hear from Uncle Maurice last night of Melanie’s untimely passing.
It has been a long time since the cousins have gotten together but remember such a cheerful and happy person. As I read through the other condolences it seems that Melanie continued on in the same way and helping so many.
Again my deepest sympathies.
Paul Kennedy and Family
