SCOTT: Allan…..
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Walter Scott at Parkwood Hospital, London, on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, after a lengthy illness. Allan is survived by his faithful and loving wife Linda (Ullmann) Scott and his former wife Mae (Sypher) Scott. Loving father of Sheldon Scott, James Scott, and Krista Quantrill. Cherished grandfather of Kyana, Arianna, Nevaya and Beulah-Jaden. Dear brother of Anne (Scott) McNeill (Laurel), Gladys (Scott) McKay (Derrick) and brother-in-law of Jeanette Scott. Also missed by his several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Melbourne and Annie (Golden) Scott and brothers John, William and his nephew Kenny. Allan grew up in Scotchtown, NB before moving to London, ON, in 1964. He loved working in his flower garden and on his home; he was meticulous about everything he did, always striving for perfection. The Scott family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Victoria Hospital, London, for their wonderful care of Al. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (1-2pm) to the funeral service being conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 2pm, with Reverend Paul G. Knauer officiating. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to London Regional Cancer Program or Lupus Ontario. Online condolences, memories and photographs shared www.amgfh.com

To My Brother
To me, you were my big brother “Allie”.
When I was little I wanted to follow you everywhere.
When you moved away your visits home were so much fun.
You were there for your family in times of trouble too, you always came home.
We grew closer as we got older and had many, many phone and computer chats, talking about our kids, our flower garden, music, when we would visit next and had many laughs when reminiscing , you had the best sense of humor.
You faced the last few years with courage and strength, you fought to the end.
I’m proud of you and love you very much.
Although I can’t be there on Monday I will hold you in my heart and thoughts, always.
Love,
Your little sister (who you affectionately referred to as “the brat”)
See you in Heaven
