PLANT, Irene Harlene….
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Irene (Post) Plant, in her 92nd year, at University Hospital, London, On Friday, October 4th, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Arthur C. Plant (1979). Loving mother of Carolyn Plant, James Plant (Judy) and Douglas Plant (Sandy). Cherished grandmother David Munden, Wendy Litke, James Plant, Brad Plant and Kristian Plant . Proud great-grandmother of Cassandra, Billie-Jean and James-Thomas. Survived by her sister-in-law Laura Cruikshank of St. Mary’s. Predeceased by her sisters Ethel Mawson and Dorothy Klambauer. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews and friends. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 and one hour prior (12-1pm) to the service on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 1pm at the A . Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Private family Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to All Saints Anglican Church, 249 Hamilton Road, London, ON N5Z 1R2 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 180-633 Colborne Street, London, ON N6B 2V3. Irene was a lovely wonderful lady. We became friends through my work at LMHC. She would call me about once a month to chat and I so looked forward to her calls. I will miss her dearly. My deepest condolences to her family. 202 McNay Street will not be the same without her wonderful presence.

Very sorry to hear of Aunt Irene’s passing. Our heart goes out to the family at this very sad time. She will be missed but never forgotten. She outlived all her sisters but now has joined them in heaven.
