BUSBY, William Edgar “Ed” (March 26, 1916 – September 14, 2013)….

Peacefully at his residence with his wife by his side, Edgar Busby in his 98th year. Beloved husband of Anna Busby (nee Jorgensen) for 70 years. Loving father of Keith Busby and his wife Janet of Ottawa, and Leonard Busby and his wife Lorraine of St. John’s, Newfoundland. Cherished grandfather of Jonathan and Alysha of Ottawa, and Luke of St. John’s, Newfoundland. Predeceased by his brothers John Wesley and Robert James Busby and his sisters Estella Gladwell and Jean Garvin. Ed was raised in Tregarva, Saskatchewan and studied engineering at the University, in Saskatoon. During WWII he was a member of the Canadian Army R.C.E.M.E. serving in England and NW Europe. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 1-2pm on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Riverside United Church, 451 Dunedin Drive, London, ON, where the funeral service will be held at 2pm. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Riverside United Church Memorial Fund, 451 Dunedin Drive, London, ON N6H 3G9. A.
