Doris was a peach of a woman.she is in. heaven know .our sympathy goes out to donna and the family
Today i lost my dear friend, but Heaven has gained another angel. My sympathy goes out to her daughter Donna and the rest of the family.
Mom, my heartaches with sadness. I never got to hold your hand one last time, never got to hold you in my arms and gently kiss you goodbye. I am fighting my own battle these days. Not a day goes by that you were not in my thoughts and prayers. I’ll forever hold you in my heart. Here are a few words from me to you.
Mom
Every time that I smile,
Every time that I sigh,
I think of your face,
And a tear escapes my eye.
You were my world,
My inspiration and my heart,
But when you left me,
I thought I would fall apart.
You were my best friend,
My one true ‘confidante’,
And that’s not all you were,
You were also my Mom.
I didn’t want to live without you,
But you would have wanted me to,
And if there’s anyone I want to make happy,
That anyone is you
I would have given anything to have you back,
But I know now that it was meant to be,
For you are still watching from up there,
And I know you’re watching me.
I’ll make you proud mom,
I’m going to fulfill your wish,
You’re going to see me and smile,
That’s a daughter’s promise
Love your daughter Janet
We attended Westminister Park church for a number of years and Doris was a joy to see and talk to. She always had a radiant smile and she was a wonderful saint of God. She is now reunited with Ed and has heard “Well done thou good and faithful servant.” She is safe in the arms of Jesus. Our condolances to the family.
