Our Dear Friend Joe,the most remarkable MAN we had the pleasure to have as a friend. May God welcome you in his Kingdom of Heaven. He will be glad He did.
I had the pleasure of knowing Joe while I worked at Labatt’s in London and at Labatt’s in the U.K. He brought the Streamliner over and toured our sales area. Joe did a marvellous job restoring the old Labatt vehicles. He was a wonderful man and I am glad I had the pleasure of knowing him.
What a wonderful friend I have lost. I will miss the many talks we had over the years. I hope you have reconnected with your fishing buddies
Dear friend I will miss my visits with you, I loved our walks, and s enjoyed bringing you baked goods. Harry was always so grateful you allowed him to hunt your property, and was truly happy you enjoyed the meat he would bring by. Rest in peace dear friend. Love Dorothy Doucette and Harry Wust
Always looked forward to ‘next time’with Joe. Joe and my Dad Alfred Barnett were friends since my pre-teen years. They shared a love for Masonry and the Shrine and anything with an engine. Dad started the Motor Corps (London) and Joe loved the Jeepsters unit. Our firm bought their first tractor / truck (White) from Joe many years ago and Joe was part of the gang that brazed the breaks in my bike frame so I didn’t lose any grocery delivery times (goes back a while). Great to know Joe as a friend and a brother. Always thankful to have shared part of our pilgrimages here with some truly special individuals and Joe is high on that list. Would liked to have expressed condolences personally but we will not be back in the city. Our thoughts and prayers will be with family and friends who share the loss of this special man. Bob Barnett.
Uncle Joe,
you were an inspiration for me in who I am. I will love you forever. I’m proud to have achieved what you told me I could be. I will never forget planting that cedar tree with you in 1994. I’ve achieved it and you believed in me!
You were an encouraging person in my life.
Thank You & I Love you
