WHITELAW, Margaret….
Peacefully at Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig, on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, Mary Margaret “Marg” (Halverson) Whitelaw in her 105th year. Beloved wife of the late Alex Whitelaw (1958) and the late Dr. Wallace Beasley. Loving Mother of Peter Whitelaw and Sandra Hough both of London. Proud Nana of Jordan and Lauren. Also missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings. Mom helped paved the way for Occupational Nursing, by being the first Industrial Nurse at Chrysler in Windsor and also at Labatt’s in London. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Kidney Foundation of Canada – Southwestern Ontario Chapter, 785 Wonderland Road South, Suite 203, London ON, N6K 1M6 or the CNIB, 749 Baseline Road East, London ON N6C 2R6. I knew Margaret through my friend and “brother” Peter…my heart hurts today for him and his sister Sandy, She lived her life to the fullest and has left the world a wonderful legaqcy in her son Peter.
Margaret, the wonderful woman, Pete’s Mum, I met many times during my stay In London. Rest in peace.
