So sorry to hear of Harold’s passing. Our deepest sympathy to Vera and family.
DAVID & VERA AND FAMILY MEMBERS: SO SORRY TO HEAR OF HAROLD’S PASSING, ON SUNDAY, JULY 7TH. I REALLY ENJOYED OUR VISIT LAST SATURDAY AFTERNOON. FURTHER, I WISH TO NOTE MY THANKS TO HAROLD. HE WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN PROVIDING ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY HOCKEY IN BELMONT, IN MY YOUTH. NUMEROUS TIMES HE CHAUFFERED ME TO MY GAMES. HE WAS A VERY CARING AND THOUGHTFUL NEIGHBOUR.
After learning of Harold’s passing I had a chance to reflect on how lucky I am to have known him. Prior to getting married to my wife Kathy, Harold gave me room and board back in 1971 for only 10$ a week so I could save money. He taught me to play Cribbage which we played almost nightly. A very classy individual and a true gentleman. He will be missed.
