My condolences to the Beals family. Ed taught me many lessons when I was a young Trooper, he was like a big brother and I know he was a great husband and father. Rest in Peace Ed, you will be remembered
On behalf of the Atlantic Chapter of the Royal Canadian Dragoons Association; I wish to offer my condolences to the family and friends of Ed Beals. Many of us have fond memories of Ed. May he rest in peace.
While I did not know Ed personally, I’d like to offer my sincere condolences to his daughters Cathy and Melissa whom I’ve worked with for many years. Know that you and your family are lifted up in prayer during this very difficult time.
To Catherine,
How saddened I was to learn of Ed’s passing. I know he had so hoped to make it to the RW Chap of the 8th Hussars this past May but his failing health precluded it.
Ed was a fine soldier who served with four Armoured Regiments over his 28 year career.
On behalf of all 8th Hussars I send deepest condolences to you & your family.
May Ed rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Dave

Cathy, Sean and Shannon my deepest sympathies to you all! Uncle Eddie was one of dads good friends serving many years together in the military. I haven’t seen him in many many years but have fond memories as a young girl staying with you all. He was always there to help his friends. He definitely earned his wings.
