MORRISON, Mabel (Broostad) …
Peacefully at Dearness Home, London on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, Mabel Morrison in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Allan Morrison. Loving mother of Kathleen Kudar and her husband Randolph. Dear sister of Edward and the late Helen Broostad, Lloyd Broostad (Shirley), Winnifred “Winnie” Hudson (Alan) and the late May Bradford. Also loved by her grandchildren Gregory and Alexa, Tyler and Beth, Bradley and Tara, and her great-grandchildren Calvin, Owen, Claire, Peyton, Finley, Connor and Evan. Predeceased by her daughter Karen and her son Stuart. The family would like to thank the staff at the Oakdale Wing of the Dearness Home for their compassion and care and also the Calvary United Church for their friendship. Interment to be held in Star City, Saskatchewan at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Charity of Choice. Kathy & family, so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was always so special to me; she was my teacher from Grade one to four. I was always so happy to talk to her at every opportunity. She was a very gracious and wonderful person. Take care.
