Dear family of Mrs. Annie de Boer,
On behalf of my Mom (Mrs. Tine Buma) and the Buma family, I would like to express our condolences to you all at this sad time in your lives.
Mom was truly blessed to have Annie and Willem as neighbours at Bethany Place in London.
Bethany Place was home to many closely-knit people when our parents lived there!
Never was there a balcony so beautifully decked out in such glorious red geraniums, as was the balcony of Annie and Willem de Boer!
I will always remember your Mom for her caring heart, her bright smile, her lovely sense of decorum, and her generous acceptance of others; your Dad for his quick wit and his wonderful sense of humour.
And what a joy to be able to pick up some rare Friesian words while visiting at 2040 Wavell Street! 🙂
Blessings to you all, as you continue to work out the purposes of our gracious God in each one of your lives. May these words from Scripture, be of comfort to us all.
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:37-39 (NIV)
God’s peace dear family and friends of Mrs Annie de Boer,
Tine Buma
