Sorry for your loss. Ken and I go back many years in the Real Estate Board, he will be missed.
Betsy and I were saddened by Ken’s passing. We will miss him, as he was a part of our lives when we worked together on the Realtor association’s board of directors. He was a gentle giant, always looking for the silver lining in any cloud, the humour in any setback, the resolution to any conflict. He was very proud of his little known Norwegian roots, a trait we shared. We will miss him.
To the Family,
I worked for Ken for many years. They were the best working years for me, Ken was always there guiding and helping in any way. My respect for him has always been there and I was so sorry to hear of his passing.
As a fellow realtor I have known Ken for many years.he was always a class.act.
Ken was a good mentor to me at my Avco days and I always enjoyed our conversations. He was very helpful in relocating us to London on both the purchase and sale of our home. He was trustworthy and genuinely interested in our dealings. Sad to here of this news of his passing condolences to his family.
Sylvia, Cheryl, Mike and family, Our loss is heaven’s gain! Ken was a good friend that anyone who knew him knew he went after anything in life to the max!..love of Sylvia and his family; curling; Avco; Real Estate Association Board of Directors; geneology; trivial pursuit; cruising with Sylvia! He loved life! Please know that Ingrid and I are praying for you in your time of loss. The bible says “Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted”. That’s God’s promise for you at this time. Glen and Ingrid
As Director of Communications for LSTAR, I worked for many years with Ken as both Director and President. He was a lovely man and a true gentleman. It was a great privilege to have known him.
Hello Sylvia
Sorry to hear of Ken’s sudden passing and our sympatht to you at this time.
You may not remember but Helen & I lived on Guildford Crescent at the same time as yourself & Ken in the late 1970,s. Also at that time and for several years we curled in the same league at the Ivanhoe. Our paths crossed occasionally over the years from time to time with Ken in real estate and my self as a property appraiser. A few years ago Ken phoned me when working on his family tree to ask about a relative that had married a Rosevear. I was not able to help him much and do not know whether he ever made a connection or not as there were three different Rosevears that came to Canada in the mid 1800’s.
Helen & Larry Rosevear

I am shocked and saddened. I talked to Ken many, many times during the last 6 months. He created our Avco Reunion website and we collaborated on the design and content. I had a long talk with Ken last week during which he mentioned how excited he was to see all his old Avco friends this June in Winnipeg.
Ken and I worked together and curled together in Thunder Bay. We were as successful on the curling ice as we were in the office. We beat Rick Lang one year in the Fort William bonspiel.
Cheryl , I remember how tough your Dad was in his desire to teach you the value of hard work. I think you were only 8 or 9 when you had your own paper route.
It hurts a lot to,lose him.
It was always a pleasure to do an offer with Ken. He was the ultimate professional….skilled, knowledgeable, fair and thoughtful. More than that he was a gentle-man. We will miss him and share in your loss.
Ken will be missed by the real estate community. He was always gracious and good humoured and our community was better for his participation.
I worked with Ken as a fellow realtor in London. I always had great respect for Ken as a kind person and a great person to work with.
I have known Ken for many years as a colleague in the Real Estate community in London. My sincere condolences to Ken’s family and friends as you deal with your loss. Ruth
I have known Ken for over 20 years and always considered him a gentle giant. Kind, co-operative and well respected within the industry of real estate, Ken will be greatly missed by all. My heart felt sympathies go out to Ken’s family and friends at this time of loss.
Sylvia, we are very sorry to hear of your loss. Ken and I were good friends during our many years at the curling clubs and I consider him one of the nicest men I have ever met. He was a huge help in selling and buying a house for us as well.
Wow. Still having trouble believing that I won’t see Ken at our Funspiel meetings any more, or just at the board when I drop in. Ken was always friendly, wearing a smile, but very focused at the task to be done. Wonderful man. Will be missed by many. My blessings go out to his family. Sincerely, Barb
Our deepest sympathy go out to you Sylvia in this difficult time.
I was saddened to hear of Ken’s passing. I have fond memories of the summer we spent building a fence and many talks over the fence with such a kind neighbour. Ken will be greatly missed. My thoughts and condolences are with Sylvia and family.
So sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. I still have my red, white, and black Team Harper curling jacket. His familiar bellow will be missed at the curling club. All the best.
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Ken’s passing. Although I never met Ken in person we chatted on various genealogy sites about our shared Harper heritage, especially the Manitoulin connection. He always had a kind and encouraging comment and was more than willing to share his information and support other family researchers. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.
We were just talking about our home buying experience and decided to look Ken up. We were saddened to see that he had passed, as he was paramount in helping us, a young, our-of-town couple to find a home in the neighbourhood we wanted. He changed the course of our lives, and now, 3 children and 15 years later, we can’t imagine what life would have been in any other property.
We are thankful for having worked with him. Our deepest condolences and prayers.
Cesar, Amy, Laura, Adam, and Lucy Abeid.
