To the Fox family, I am so sorry and sad. Murray was a good pal from work and he always called me “Terrible Tonya” and I fondly called him “Foxy Lady” He loved his family dearly,(as well as his cupcakes) xox TT
My sincerest sympathy Jocelyn – I am so sorry to hear of Murray’s passing. Please take comfort in knowing that Murray leaves us with many wonderful memories of us all working at the Dearness Home. His thoughtfulness, compassion for others, and his humour will be remembered by so many.
Dear Jocelyn, you may not remember me, but I worked at the Dearness home 1978 and 79. I’m so sorry to hear the sad news and wanted you to know that I remember Murray well. I got to know him in the early days when we would take the same city bus home. I sometimes got off the bus with him, have a cup of tea and then get back on the next bus and continue on home. I remember him for his sense of humour and his compassionate way of treating people, both co workers and residents. He helped me transition from a shy country girl to the wordly city, and I have always thought of him affectionately. Please accept my sincere condolences!
