Dearest Jack, Ian, and family.
Very sad to hear of Betty’s death. So many great memories of St. Matthias’ past. One of the memories I share is how Betty got me to love baseball. You are all in my prayers.
Many blessings.
Brian
I just want to express my sincerest condolances to you all. The happiest years of my life were spent at St. Mathias’, Westmount when you father and mother were there. I owe such a debt of gratitude to them both for their support and encouragement of my musical life during those years. Please believe that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Stephen

Yours in Christ,
+Barry

Betty was an inspiration and exceptionally dedicated worker in the parish life of St. Matthias’, Westmount. We remember her fondly and celebrate her memory.
Miss Betty,
Thank you so much for my best friend Jane! I am so greatful that you raised such a wonderful person. We will miss you! Big hugs!
Dear Jane and family: I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mother – she was an institution at Schadeview. She was also a sorority sister of my mother when they were at UWO so perhaps they are having a celestial cup of tea together now. My sympathies, Cathy
Jack, our sincere condolances on the passing of Betty. At St Matthias you and Betty were always so gracious to my mother Ruth who passed away at age 91. You are all from good stock. As a choir boy you said you saw me in the ministry. Very prophetic and a great compliment. You came close. I do work for the church but not of the cloth, as the administrator of Chrict Church Cathedral in Ottawa with Canon Catherine Ascah. Cynthia and my thoughts are with you, Jane and Ian.

My prayers and thoughts are with you, Archdeacon Doidge, your son Ian and the rest of the family at this time. Coming to Montreal in the sixties St. Matthias, Westmount was the place I worshiped. Many memories.

Dear Jack and Family, ,
Jim and I were very sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. Please know that we are thinking about you and pray that you may find comfort in the days ahead.
Betty was a special friend to me when we arrived at St. James, taking me under her wing and bringing me into the church family. Our 3 boys thought highly of Betty and Jack who always took time to talk to them and made them feel welcome.
Please accept our condolences at this difficult time.
