THAR, Kenneth Donald….
At Victoria Hospital, London on Sunday, January 6, 2013, Donald Thar in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Joan Thar. Loving father of Wayne (Pat), David (Lee), Brenda (Glen) MacGregor and Brian. Proud grandfather of Christopher (Amy). Cherished great-grandfather of Kennedy and Taylor. Dear brother of Calvin (Claudia). Also missed by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. Predeceased by his infant brother Carly, his brother Keith (Carole) and his sister Nadine (Wes) Hickson. Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, Ontario, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the London Health Sciences Foundation – SPARC unit, 747 Base Line Road, London, ON N6C 2R6 or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation 180-633 Colborne Street, London, ON N6B 2V3.
