Our condolences to the Yelland family. Mrs Yelland was a wonderful neighbour to grow up around and enjoyed her kindness and smile around the neighbourhood. One of my memories is seeing her many times bike around the neighbourhood with her basket and going around to peoples homes doing their hairstyles. What a blessing to have her as a Pinewood neighbour all those years.
We have many fond memories of times spent with Auntie Jacquie, both during her visits to England with Uncle George and our visits to them. One of our enduring memories will be of her appetite for life and sense of fun, which still hadn’t diminshed during our last visit in September 2011. Very much a people’s person, she was both warm and kind hearted and we will certainly miss her. Our thoughts at this time are with Sue, Jeff, Benjamin and Rachael.
Dear Auntie Jacque
Thank you for the laughter
Which I’ll remember forever after
Thank you for your compassion
You always knew when to phone
Thank you for your name
Which I’m so proud to now call my own
Thank you for standing by me
When I felt so very alone
Thank you for being my Auntie
My friend, my stand in Mum
Thank you for your smiles
Those hugs that were second to none
Thank you for the memories
When you visited we had so much fun
I dont know what to feel
Now that you are gone
A huge void has appeared
Which no one else can fill
So when I look to heaven
Be sure to give a smile
I know I’ll always miss you
But know you are at peace
With Uncle George and Peter
Please give Dad a hug from me
Jacky xx
We have many cherished memories of Auntie Jacque.
She was kind, thoughtful, fun loving and very creative – I still have a Christmas stocking which she made when I was a child.
She always had a story to tell and would always make us laugh.
Auntie Jacque I hope you know
You will be missed a lot
You were loved by so many
You’ll never be forgot
Our thoughts are with Sue, Jeff, Benjamin & Rachel at this sad time.
Sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Steve and Val
I was sadenned to hear of the passing of your dear mother. Jacquie was a wonderful loving, compassionate and caring lady who always had time to chat and share a kind word always with a smile and a laugh or two. She will always be remembered and I will cherish the memories. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.
This photo is so typical of Jacquie – the mischieveous smile, the outrageous hat – she is all set to have some fun with whoever happens to be at hand. I loved singing in the choir with her at St. Michael and All Angels, a lifetime ago it seems now. I’m sure she is belting out praises with the Heavenly Host. Sing on, Jacquie!
