Uncle Fred was an amazing man! I have such fond memories of all of our visits together. I loved listening to his many stories and adventures. He’d get out his pictures, all dated, and tell us all about them. He will be missed. I loved him.
Uncle Fred was a special man. We always looked forward to his visits east to hear of his interesting travels. I will miss him. My best to the family. xo
Uncle Fred will be remembered as a caring man and Uncle. I was made to feel quite special when he made the journey to attend my high school graduation. He enjoyed taking many photos and talking of his travels.
To Fred’s Family; I met Fred and Evelyn when we all attended Hyde Park United Church in London..Fred and I always talked about our joint Nova Scotia heritage and our fondness for our Dalhousie University..My husband and I moved from London several years ago so I lost touch with Fred..Our last meeting was over lunch at the former Horse and Hound Restaurant on Hyde Park Road..Fred was a very genuine gentleman of the “old school”..We are sad today for Fred’s family and we shall remember you in prayers..Blessings,Dawn MacAskill-Cumming.
Fred was great to keep in contact with family, including his extended family. I have fond memories of his visits “home” to Nova Scotia and of his most interesting letters every Christmas. Sincere sympathy to Eve, Catherine and other family members.

I would like to extend my sympathy to Eve, Cathy and extended family. I recall going through the photo album with Mom (Emeline) and her being very proud of her older brother, Fred. Whenever he visited he would update us with news of his family and would share pictures of his latest travels. When Cathy joined us, Dad (Ralph) would refer to us as his two sets of triplets . My thoughts and prayers are with you. We will be gathering at the Foote homestead on Nov 20 to celebrate Fred’s life with his brother Albert and sister Alice and extended families. Love Douglas
Deepest sympathy to Evelyn and family; Fred has not passed but he has just gone before to where we will join him later;He will be reserving a place for us along with the MOST HIGH in the grand lodge above ; where we will live forever and ever; That is Noble Fred I new; Will never forget him;
