SMITH, Ross Macdonald…
Ross passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the age of 86 years. Ross will always be the cherished husband to Dorothy (McBurney). Wonderful father to Ivan (Pauline Wand) of London, Andrew (Mary Margaret Smith) of Kitchener, Daniel of Toronto and Janet (Steve Sanderson) of Orillia. Beloved grandfather to MaryJo and Malcolm Smith, Pamela, Rebecca and Olivia Sanderson. Survived by his sister Bernice Skinner of London and brother Bruce (Marion) of London. Predeceased by sister June Edge of Toronto. Special brother-in-law to Gwen McBurney of London. Friends will be received by the family on Friday, October 5, 2012 from 7-9 pm and Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 9:30-10:30 am at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30am. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined, donations to St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation – Parkwood Hospital (Veterans Care and Comfort Fund), 268 Grosvenor Street, London ON N6A 4V2 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
