RICE, Frederick George…At University Hospital, London on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 Frederick “Fred” G. Rice in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Marion (Greenaway) Rice. Dear father of John Rice (Barbara) of Manitoba, Annette Pole (Ken), Tom Rice (Gail) and Jane Kowalski (late Rom) all of London and Tim Rice (Cathy) of Glencoe. Loved grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers Orwell and Harold Rice and granddaughter Shahna Rice. Fred was a veteran of WWII and served overseas. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family on Monday, September 10, 2012 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm (1 hour prior) at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 1:00 pm with Reverend Teresa Corrigan officiating. Interment later in Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Church of the Epiphany Memorial Fund, 11 Briscoe Street West, London, ON N6J 1L9 would be appreciated.
