NORTH, Marjorie (Lister)…Marjorie Lenore (Lister) North left this life on July 24, 2012 in her 99th year to join her beloved husband Albert (A.K.) Marjorie graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1935 with a B.A. and spent her professional life at the London Life Insurance Company. Marjorie and Albert were supporters of the London Symphony and her Alma Mater UWO. “You were our role model and our rock. You will always be with us. Be at rest wonderful lady.” Marjorie’s family wishes to thank the staff of Grandwood Park and McGarrell Place for their support and compassionate care. At Marjorie’s request there will be no service. We first came to know Marjorie when Albert accepted her as his new wife. A friendship foremost, the two of them enjoyed each other’s company immensely. It was her charm and wit, and warm personality which Marjorie will be remembered for.
Our sincerest sympathies Barb and extended family, for the loss of your wonderful, dear mother.
Our condolences, Werner and Renate Schulz, Mike, Carol, Brian and Joyce Schulz

We were friends of Marjorie and Ab through the Unitarian Fellowship of London. They took us to see a play in Niagara-on-the-Lake many years ago. We continued to visit Marjorie in her various residences, and she was always interested in hearing about any trips we had taken. She was glad to be able to talk to someone who had known Ab. She often talked about her family with great fondness. I remember all the beautiful knitting she did for you. I remember that she used to collect golf balls on her property, sell them, and then give the money to Orchestra London. What a great idea! She was so pleased that “Barbie” bought the home that she and Ab had shared. We always felt comforted to know that she had such a loving family to care for her. Please accept our sympathy.
