Shirley Hunter was one of the sweetest ladies I ever had the pleasure of knowing.
She always had a smile on her face and kindness in her heart.

Sorry sorry to learn of the passing of your mother Roy. Our condolences to the whole family.
Roy and Carol. I was deeply saddened on Sunday when Mom and Dad called to tell me that your Mom had passed away. Your parents were wonderful people that I loved being around. I have fond memories of both of them. I know that my parents will miss her very much.

Carol, Roy, Diana and family. It is very difficult to put into words the loss I am feeling without seeing your Mom’s smiling face on a daily basis. Her positive influence to others and the way she lived each day to the fullest is a lesson to hold on to. It has been an honour and truly my pleasure to have had the opportunity to love and care for your Mom. Her memory will live on through the wonderful pictures we have captured during her involvement at programs and outings. You, her family have been amazing with the participation and excitedment you have displayed. The care and dignity you gave your Mom is admirable. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Blessing. You have grown your wings Shirley so sore high above you deserve it.
To Shirley’s family:
Bosley and I have enjoyed and appreciated Shirley’s friendship over the past couple of years. With much humour and grace as well as affectionate attention to Bosley, Shirley won our hearts. We will miss our kind friend.
I wish to express my sincere sympathies to Carol and Roy and the family.
Sincerely,
Mary Hockin
So sorry to hear of your mother’s death, Roy. The passing of our parents certainly is a reminder of our own mortality as we become the oldest family members. Funny how we don’t really feel any older, and grieve their loss as if we were still children! All the best to you and your family. Candy.
WOW – what a lady, what a life! Together with my parents, John and Joyce Morris, and friend, Nancy Jack, we want you, Carol, and your family, to know that we feel privileged to be part of your Mother’s life, and have so loved being in her company – enjoying HER joy, her laughter, herSELF!!
