GLADISH, Desmond Boyd Morrie… At McCormick Home, London on Sunday, June 24, 2012 D. B. Morrie Gladish in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Doris L. (Dalby) Gladish and the late Helen Margaret Gladish (1970). Dear father of Grant Gladish of Vancouver, Karen Johnston (Bob) and Adrienne Parzych (Kim Burlock) all of Brampton and Barbara Kloetstra (Chuck) and Ruth Nicholls all of London. Also loved by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Eric Gladish and Esther Roth. Predeceased by his brothers Peter and George Gladish and sisters Ann Dorrington, Beatrice Hudson and Lil Worrall. Morrie Gladish was the former President of Tork Canada Ltd. and was well known to people in the electrical manufacturing and distributing fields across Canada. Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. A memorial service will be conducted from Westview Baptist Church, 1000 Wonderland Road South (at Southdale Road) on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 1:00 pm with Reverend David W. Stead officiating, As an expression of sympathy, donations to the London Children’s Hospital, 800 Commissioners Rd. E., London, ON N6A 5W9 would be appreciated. Online condolences at www.amgfh.com

Dear Grant, Karen and Adrienne –
Know that even though we are unable to attend Morrie’s funeral, we are thinking of you, remembering your Dad, and praying that God’s promises of eternal life will be a great comfort to you. We send you our love.
We were saddened to read about Des in the paper. Our condolences to all the family. We have some great memories of Des and his sense of humour. Our prayers are with Doris and the family.
