Girls,
What to say…no words can express what will soothe your aching hearts during this time of grief. No flowers or gestures will ease the pain of the loss you are feeling. But know in your hearts that you have family, friends and many that loved your Mom, and they in turn love you. Lean on them and take time to remember the good, and the funny. Your Mom was a hoot! I know my Mom is going to miss her immensely and that your loss is also hers. Tis a sad time, but with time, the pain will ease and the edges will soften. The norm will return and as the season changes you will grieve again until the cycle has completed. Reach out to those that love and care for you during this time and in the next season too. Eileen will be missed by many and remembered fondly.
Hugs and love
Trish and Doug
Greetings all, Pam,Shelley,Val and all your relatives and friends… there are many children and great grandchildren who have surrounded your Mother. She was like that… people wanted to be around her.. she made my heart smile.. and she was always comforting… tho she had a snap to her when we all needed it. She persevered through many hard times with a sense of humour and stalwart determination to make things work… Over the years our families have been separated by geographical distance, but, many wonderful memories remain of our childhood days.
Eileen was a good friend of my Mother’s as was Betty Sherman, and I am forever grateful for their open, kind, hearts.
She has lived a good life that I am aware of,so have no sadness, accept death as part of life. You were blessed with an amazing woman as your mother. Be forever grateful for the times and memories…
Grampa George died on the 19th of June.. Can’t they choose cooler weather ?
– May the Peace of The Great Spirit be with you all, and with your prayers guide your Mother onto the Peaceful Road Home… Yes, I do believe in a hereafter.. In the Spirit of Christ .. Amen
Hoping to see you before the summer is past … With love and fond memories.. (Aunti) Di
