Dear family,
Yesterday aunt Lidy called me to inform me about the passing away of your beloved mum ,grandma and great grandma.
First I want to convey my condolences to all of you, with this big loss.
As I understood her condition was getting worse very rapidly.
Why her you might ask yourself, but she would have been the first to say why not me???
I will miss her dearly, more then most other family members who have passed away before her.
Just before I left Canada, I told her: “Ann, I love you very much and you are special to me…” She replied: “Wim, I love you very much too as we all do…”
Why was Ann so special? She always was straightforward, honest and was never hiding her opinion, if you agreed or not. Some people cannot deal with that, but others admire that.
I belong to the last category, cos I have the same character like my mum..
In my opinion she was a very brave and optimistic woman too, how she dealt with her illness.
I will miss our long conversations, the last time in Canada and also by phone, when we were talking about everything you can imagine.
Now she is in peace and no more pain and she has joined all the familymembers who passed away before her. What now rests are memories.
One day the tears will be replaced by a smile when you think of her and in my opinion she will always be around you to watch and guard you.
My thoughts are with you all, I hope we will stay in touch, your mum would have liked that.
Kisses and hugs
Your nephew Wim

We wish you a all lot of strength with this loss. She always told me how good you, her children and her children in law, were for her. I greatly appreciate this, as her sister, and wants to thank you all. She was proud of her children/grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She could not tell enough about them.
Annie will always hold a special spot in my heart. We were sitting on the phone every week at each other and were talking an hour/an hour and a half. When she was ill was that unfortunately not so long, she was too tired. That were shorter conversations.
Consolation is now that she has no pain and not feel sick, but rest has gotten. I sincerely hope that you all can give this sadness a place and hope that you with lots of fun look back at the time that you have had with each other.
A big hug from Rob & Suze
