CLARRIDGE, Ellen Beryl
Peacefully with her family by her side, at Victoria Hospital, London on Monday, May 21, 2012 E. Beryl”Corky” (McCracken) Clarridge in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon A. Clarridge (1972). Dear mother of Terry Clarridge (Ana) of Burlington and D.”Lynn” Ritchie (Wayne) of London. Loved grandmother of Todd Ritchie (Sarah), Trevor Ritchie, Adam Clarridge (Elena) and Laura Clarridge (Ed) and great grandmother of Teaghan and Brenna Ritchie. Dear sister of Alma Roth, Arlene Dean and Wilbur McCracken. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Neva McCracken, sisters Grace English and Lela Meeks and brothers Charles and Archibald McCracken. Beryl was a WWII veteran and member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 015, Brampton since 1950. Cremation has taken place. At the request of the deceased a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Aicardi Syndrome Foundation, P.O. Box 3202 St. Charles , IL. 60174 would be appreciated. Beryl was a most kind and gentle mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Arrangements entrusted to the A. “Corky”‘s passing. She was a lovely lady and we will remember her fondly. Our condolences to the families.
Aunty Beryl was an icon in my life. I always looked forward to her visits out west. For my whole 51 years, she has been a very important person. She has brought into my life the full riches of her whole family. I am greatful for my recent presence with her,and her family’s life.I will continue to be a part of her life through her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.She was greatly loved and will be truly missed.
