OSBOURNE, Vera Alydia
Peacefully at Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care, London on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 Vera A. Osbourne in her 94th year. Beloved daughter of the late Isaiah and Olga (Forte) Osbourne. Vera is survived by many good friends. She is predeceased by her brother Dighton and her sister Gwendolyn. She was a teacher in St. Lucia before her training to become a nurse in England. Vera worked as a nurse in Thunder Bay and later at the Stratford General Hospital. She retired in 1982 and moved to London. Vera was a life long member of the Free Methodist Church and taught Sunday School at the Free Methodist Church in London. Friends will be received by the family on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 9:30 -10:30 am (1 hour prior) at the Free Methodist Church, 402 Commissioners Rd. W., London where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 10:30 am with Reverend Terry Mowat officiating. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, London.
