Peacefully at Richmond Woods, London in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Nelles John England for 65 years. Loving mother of Sandra and her husband Rick Aldington, Graham England and his wife Linda and Jennifer and her husband Robert Brown. Cherished grandmother of Michelle (Andrew), Scott (Kalen), Lori, Jennifer, Mark, Craig, Derek (Lauren), Jessica and Graeme. Loved great-grandmother of Benjamin and Nadia. Predeceased by her sister Margaret and brothers Stewart, Edward, James, Ripley and Thomas. Ella served with the the Y.W.C.A. Auxiliary Services during World War II in Canada, St. John’s, Newfoundland and London, England. Known to all as “Mrs. E.” Ella was an enthusiastic golfer, curler and bridge player. Past President of the Ladies Section of Sunningdale and London Hunt and Country Clubs. The family will receive friends from 12 (noon) – 1pm on Monday, February 13, 2012 , at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at 1:00pm. Cremation with interment in Woodland Cemetery, London.
