ENGLAND, Ella Lovering (Ballantyne)…
Peacefully at Richmond Woods, London in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Nelles John England for 65 years. Loving mother of Sandra and her husband Rick Aldington, Graham England and his wife Linda and Jennifer and her husband Robert Brown. Cherished grandmother of Michelle (Andrew), Scott (Kalen), Lori, Jennifer, Mark, Craig, Derek (Lauren), Jessica and Graeme. Loved great-grandmother of Benjamin and Nadia. Predeceased by her sister Margaret and brothers Stewart, Edward, James, Ripley and Thomas. Ella served with the the Y.W.C.A. Auxiliary Services during World War II in Canada, St. John’s, Newfoundland and London, England. Known to all as “Mrs. E.” Ella was an enthusiastic golfer, curler and bridge player. Past President of the Ladies Section of Sunningdale and London Hunt and Country Clubs. The family will receive friends from 12 (noon) – 1pm on Monday, February 13, 2012 , at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at 1:00pm. Cremation with interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to First St. Andrews United Church, 350 Queens Avenue, London, ON N6B 1X6 or the Salvation Army, 371 King Street, London, ON N6B 1S4. We are sorry for your loss. Although we never met Ella, she did a wonderful job of raising 3 fine children , her greatest accomplishment. Rest well Ella. Our condolensces go out to the family at this time.
