I was so sad to hear the news about Bob’s passing. He was such a fine gentleman and a very dear friend. He will be missed but has left happy memories to hold dear to the heart. My thoughts and prayers are with Marg and the family. Fondest love Muriel.
Dear Marg and family,
I offer you my deepest sympathies on Bob’s passing. He was such a gentleman in every sense of the word. He was always there with words of praise and encouragement. To me, Bob was one of the pillars of Elmwood. He represented what was good about the church. I will miss his friendly and kindly greeting on Sunday mornings. Memories live on.
Sincerely, Alistair
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
I was very sorry to read of Mr. Carnegy’s passing. He was a very dear friend of both my parents, and I will always remember his kindness towards my father when he was in Parkwood. He was a gentleman in the trure sense of the word, both in his association with Elmwood and in his personal life with his friends and family. My thoughts are with both Mrs. Carnegy and Patti.

Dear Patty and Marg:
So very sorry to receive your call this morning about your Dad’s (Bob’s) passing – we trust that the Lord will comfort your family in this time of grief. Your Dad-and husband-was a great guy and many of us always enjoyed visiting at your home on Sherwood Ave. Of course he always represented Boughner’s perfectly in his appearance having access to top quality men’s wear. Patty you were so fortunate to have your Dad this long (and I know you’ve always felt blessed) as my Dad’s been gone for 26 years now. I do hope you’ll both take comfort in knowing that Bob left this world a better place for those of us that had the good fortune to know him. Lean on the Lord and He will support you. See you Tuesday, love Susie.
Dear Marg,
Please accept my sincere condolences on Bob’s death. I am unable to attend the funeral.
With kind regards,
Jean Wuensch
You are in my thoughts.
with love
Pat
Patty, Our sympathies and condolences. We won’t be there with you, your Mom tomorrow but glad Des, Diane and Brenda are and rest assured you are in our thoughts. Anne and Victor
Hello Margaret,
It was with sadness that I read the notice of your husband’s death in today’s paper. I hope that you remember me. I along with Betty Ramsbottom and Carole Hayden were student residents at your home for 2 years. Time has surly passed as we are all retired now but you were our home away from home parents so long ago! Bob still looks as handsome as ever. I hope that your memories help you through this difficult time.

I will always remember how you were a surrogate father to me when I was in law school in London. I will never forget your kind, loving and gentle ways, and of course my friendship with Patty has been a blessing ever since I met her. May God’s angels carry you to rest and glory.
We were sorry to hear of Mr. Carnegy’s passing. He and my Dad Bob Sherriff were good friends at the Kiwanis Club and 82 Ridout Street.

Marg and Pat,
So sorry to hear about Bob. Just heard from Mom today, but wanted to send a note. It was so good to see you both at Mom’s birthday a couple of years ago. Love Phyllis
Dear Stanley & Jane;
You may recall me from Acadia ’47. Unfortunately I was unable to extend more timely condolences on the loss of your brother. I enjoyed knowing Bob having first met him at at Boughner’s. Whatever we may have spoken of other than to establish that you and I were classmates, whenever we met over the years he impressed me by remembering the Burburry I had purchased and our Acadia connection.
Cheers; Charles
