Dear Sharon and family: My sincere sympathy goes out to all of you in the loss of Geoff. It has been a long time since I have seen you all but I do have fond memories of all of you at Wesley-Knox. With prayers and hugs of comfort…..Ronalee (McKinlay-Barber)Porter.
Andrea, I love the photo that all of you chose… it captures your dad’s fun-loving spirit perfectly. It’s an amazing picture for an amazing man of whom I have many fond memories. My childhood wouldn’t have been the same without being called Tinkerbell by Mr. Ditcher on a daily basis. My sincerest condolences to all of you, and please know that I’m here for you if there’s anything at all that you need.
Dear Mrs. Ditcher,
It is with great sadness that I write my condolences to you.
Mr. Ditcher will be greatly missed. His kindness, devotion to your family and sense of fun will be remembered always. He was such a vivid example of a truly great human being… and one of my role models. I have no doubt that God welcomed him Home with open arms.
Please know that my thoughts are definitely with you at this time.
Michael, Andrea and Chris,
I wanted to write my condolences to you as well. I know that your dad was such a strong, positive, integral force in all of your lives. He leaves behind a great legacy in each of you.
Your dad is a part of my memories from such an early age, with all of the visits between your parents’ house and mine. My parents couldn’t have chosen better friends. At every milestone and point along the way, your dad always had a kind word to say or a laugh ready to share with everyone in our family. His kindness will be remembered.
Thinking of you all,
Colleen
