Dear Donna and Dianne
We have fond memories of your mother at 100 Ridout when she used to help Allan’s aunt Betty Vandelinder then his mother Vera Bedford in so many ways. She was a wonderful friend, always cheerful and smiling, just like the picture of her on this website. We will be thinking of you in the difficult days ahead as you say goodbye to an amazing mother.
(Vera died this past Feb at 99 years and 5 months of age)
The photo of Florence on the website so perfectly captures the lovely lady I came to know at London Gospel Temple, her beautiful spirit always shone forth and she spoke words of faith no matter what the circumstances she found herself in. My visits with her at the home over the last year were more inspirational to me than she ever knew! We had the privilege of praying together and sharing our stories of God’s love in our lives. I will cherish my memories of her and miss her friendship. Anyone who has seen her artistic talents will realize she had another hidden ability that God permitted her to bring forth while at the Home. She longed for heaven and now she has entered that rest!
Donna,Dianne,Sorry to hear about your Mom.It is a very sad time when your Mom passes away.Yet, we have the hope of seeing them again.Thinking of you both. Hope you and your families are well. Tom Spencelayh, Victoria.
We want to offer our condolences with the passing of Florence.
