To Bob, Rick, Wendy, and grandkids: I am so sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing. I have known Nancy (and Bob) since 1985 when I joined the faculty at UWO. They were both so kind to me showing me around London and SW Ontario and introducing me to Manitoulin Island. I am grateful for Nancy and Bob’s friendship over the years. I’ll always remember Nancy’s journey by wheelchair through much of Australia!
She’ll be missed.
Cheryl
Dear Rick, Lori and family – Tonight you are preparing for travel and for lectures and we are praying for you – as we will as you travel, share time with family and friends, honour your mom, Rick, and return. May there be both laughter and tears and great memories and may you be confident of the prayerful support of your BSBC family.
With our love – Greg & Margaret
Dear Rick,
I just learned of your mom’s passing and I wanted to express my condolences to you, Wendy, and your Dad. From the time that I first met your family, some 43 years ago, your mother was always a friendly and generous person. I particularly recall her generosity in allowing my brother and I to stay at your cottage.
Wishing you and your family strength and love. Your friend, Richard.
Rick and Family,
Rosie and I are very sorry to hear about your loss. Our prayers will be with you and your family.

Dear Bob,
Greg and I are sorry for you loss and remember fondly our shared OHA evening being celebrated in Toronto) for our histories of Northern and small town Ontario. We will hold you in light these coming weeks.
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time. Nancy was a vibrant and unique person! We always enjoyed when she shared her stories of her vast experiences and escapades with Bob on their many travels. She enjoyed life and what it had to offer! She will be sorely missed on Smith Bay.
My sympathies go to Nancy’s family. I am a nusring classmate fron Hamilton General 1959. I remember Nancy well.
May she rest in peace

Dear Wightman family – we were so sorry to hear from Richard Huggins that Nancy passed away. She was such a wonderful lady – we always enjoyed her visits while we were students at UNB (and the cream puffs she would make for us!) Please accept our heartfelt sympathy. Warmly, your friends the Robichaud’s of Grimsby (formerly the Maritimes)
