I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Take comfort in knowing that your dad is in a better place, reunited with your mom. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Another great soldier has left us. Carm was always a bright, enthusiatic member of the RCR Association and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Thank you for your service to Canada and your life long friendship to so many.

To Glenn and Family,
I had the privilege to serve with Carm as my Company Commander in Germany during the sixties. He was a great boss and always had time and assistance for his soldiers. I will miss his company at the farm.
Sincerely condolences,
Bob Heffler
My deepest sympathies to the family of Carm Darling. I became acquainted with this fine gentleman in 1951 in Korea and served with him in 2 RCR in Germany during the period 1953-55. I was posted away from the battalion in 1956 and probably saw Carm at several Regimental reunions but over the last number of years our paths did not cross. The persons with whom I served in the Regiment are slowly but surely decreasing over time, and there are only a few of us remaining to continue on in our associations. Once again, my deepest sympathies to the family. Requiescet in pace. Pro Patria
Our sincerest sympathies to Carm’s family – he was a great neighbour who we always enjoyed visiting with on our visits to London. He was very proud of his military service and it is nice to see some condolences from his comrades. He will be missed.
Sincerely, Susan and Doug
To Carm’s family. My sincere condolences for your loss. Carm was a fine officer and a very loyal friend.
