I became friends with your mom over 25 yrs. ago, when we I joined the Canadian Embroiderers’ Guild. After leaving London, 14 yrs. ago, she continued to keep in touch. Her lovely hand stitched cards still hang in my studio and I will always remember her smile and thoughtfulness.
With my sympathy,
Dianne Gibson, Fonthill, ON
Tom, Joan, Liz and Ted with sadness of the passing of your Mom I also carry memories of warmth and always feeling welcome by your Mom and Murry, when as a teenager our band of characters would drop by for a visit. Tom your Mom and Dad always seemed to display great joy and interest in our lives, and memories of conversations with them still brings me great joy.

I have cherished memories of Kettle Point and wonderful family get togethers. Thoughts and prayers to all of you. Much Love!
All of the Taylor girls and our families send our love to Wendy, Kevin, and Tom and your families. We have such lovely memories of Ipperwash and the cottages. Every Taylor grand-daughter of Gord and Gladys went home from the hospital in a little pink sweater and bonnet and booties hand-knitted by Auntie Jeanne. I can still smell the cherry tobacco in Uncle Murray’s pipe when I think of the beach. May God’s peace be upon you. xoxoxoxoxo
I was privileged to have benefitted from Jean’s expertise in needlework and to have shared time with her on the Executive of CEG London. Besides her passion for stitching, I think her greatest love was for Murray and her family. She spoke so often with pride of her children, and Tom, she never failed to remind me of our youthful days spent with Miss Reeves.
I send to you my heartfelt sympathy in the passing or your Mom, always a lady and a friend to many.
Kevin, Wendy, Tom and families:
Our sincere condolences on the passing of your Mom. She’s another long-time member of Wesley-Knox that will be missed by many.
Sincerely, Gail and Grant
Kevin:…Joanna and I are thinking of you in your time of loss. Bob And Joanna Gooder.
In the 7 years I worked for your parents,I always looked forward to our “talks”,some were light … but always were “thought- full”! Jeanne’s Motherly advice was always taken into my heart.Seeing her working on her quilts, knitting, & Memory books is a vision I’ll hold dear of your Mom. I remember Jeanne & Murray when I,too, bake my squares & Cowboy cookies. Blessings to you all,Pegi.
Dear Wendy, Kevin and Tom:
How saddened we were to hear of your Mom’s death after many years of declining health. We remember with gratitude the happy days we had at Wesley-Knox … the kindness of your parents towards us … and the great fun we had with he three of you. How blessed we were to have grown up together and to be a part of each others lives. And how blessed you were to have the parents you did. We are unable to attend the service today but we want you to know that we are thinking of you and holding you in our hearts. Our love to all of you.
Wendy,
Very sorry to hear of your loss. We know that Iona was well loved and respected. Our condolences.
My sincerest sympathy. Jeanne and I shared an enthuseasm for free motion machine embroidery, as we taught some classes together at Guild. Also our birthdays, and age were very close. Jeanne taught me ribbon embroidery – she was an absolute master of that.
Again. my sincere sympathy.
