HILDERING, John…”In my Father’s house are many mansions, I go there to prepare a place for you.” On Saturday, July 23, 2011 the Lord in His infinite wisdom called home His servant, John Hildering in this 88th year. Beloved husband of Nellie Hildering (nee DeWeger-Schuling). Predeceased by his first wife Riek Hildering (nee Heyerman) and his son Dwight Hildering. Dear father of Scott and Nancy Hildering, father-in-law of Teresa Hildering of Millgrove, also loved by his children; Diana & Michael Miedema of Pt. Stanley, Ronald & Doreen DeWeger of Pt. Stanley, Marsha & Bernard Miedema of Exeter. Beloved Opa of Catherine Hildering & J.J. Brill, Rachel Hildering, Melissa & Craig Gagnon, Christina & Luke Holst, Andrew Hildering, Matthew & Laura Miedema, Danielle & Peter Reid, Patrick & Danielle Miedema, Adam DeWeger & Emily Woudstra, Jordan DeWeger, Alycia & Dick Visser, Meaghan Miedema & Matthew Barlow, Tyler Miedema, Nikki Miedema & Jordan Kuipers and one great grandchild, Aliya Reid. Dear brother of Anna Pieters, St. Thomas and Lex & Ido Hildering, Cees Endeveld, Holland. Predeceased by his brother Piet Hildering, sister-in-law Cato Hildering and brother-in-law Herman Pieters. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at the A. Millard George Funeral Home until Tuesday afternoon, July 26th and then to the First Christian Reformed Church, 75 Blackfriars Street, London for funeral services on at 1:30 pm. Interment at Siloam Cemetery. Visitation on Monday, July 25 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Remembrances may be made to the “Christian Reformed World Relief Committee”, 3475 MainwaySTN LCD 1, Burlington, ON L7R 3Y8 in lieu of flowers. Online condolences accepted at www.amgfh.com

My heart is so sad to hear of John’s passing… I would like to thank him for giving me the privilege to get to know him as well as caring for him over these past years.
