NORWOOD, Jake….
Peacefully at Glendale Crossing on Sunday, June 26, 2011, John “Jake” Norwood in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Flo (Brocklebank) Norwood (2005). Loving father of Jacquie Messenger (Alf) of London, Maureen Bird (Gerry) of Oakville, Judi Gelowitz (Gerry) of Kamloops, B.C. and Chris Dunne of Langley, B.C.. Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law of Mae Norwood of Windsor. Also missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Herbert, Robert, and his sister Olive. The family wishes to thank the staff at Glendale Crossing for their incredible care and support. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Glendale Crossing, 3030 Singleton Avenue, London on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 2:00pm. Private family interment in Windsor. Jackie & Alf, Norwood family, our condolences on the passing of Jake: he and Flo were great neighbours and fiends.
