Bob and I had a lot of laughs while taping the summer snap shot segments for CFPL tv. He was a little nervous and shy about doing them but I think he was proud of the end result as we promoted local landmarks in our viewing area. It was an honour to work with and to know Bob. Mike Miller..
I was so saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. As an old friend from the CFPL-TV days I will feel his passing along with many others from those days. Bob was a quiet man and respected by his peers He was a true gentle man. Bill Burrows
We only knew Bob for a week (“roomies” at Victoria Hospital) Bob’s kind heart and gentle soul impacted us and we are grateful to have witnessed such a graceful man even in his final days. God Bless

So many memories so much laughter! Especially one Christmas Eve when we sat around the table for hours and laughed until we cried…and missed Church completely. He will be missed greatly and I send my deepest sympathy to the entire family. My thoughts are with you. I wish I could be with you Robin…with lots of love Melanie Lovell
When I worked at the South London Pool where Bob was a morning aquafitter, he would always make me smile, driving his “green convertible”. As I spoke with him, Bob was very proud of his family & mentioned them often including Lincoln & the cats. I will always remember Bob, a kind, gentle & caring man.
My sincere condolences Lisa to you and your family. Your Father was one special man I feel very lucky to have had the privilege to care for such a grateful man. I truly will miss him. sincerely Lise Duthie

My father forwarded your Dad’s obituary to me. I just wanted to say I’m very sorry for your loss, and to tell you how your both your Father and Mother will be remembered in my life. Your Dad use to pile us into the station wagon and take us to Boblo (sp)island all of us screaming and laughing and he loved every minute of it, it was a big part of my child hood, and remember the drive ins we use to go to, at a time when parents were not very involved with their children, your parents were there for all of us. I still tell people that it was your Mother who taught me how to drink tea, she said Michelle you have to drink something to be social, and she made me tea in a lovely bone China tea cup, and i still drink tea to this day.
We have all gone on with our lives and now have families of our own, I’ve travelled and lived all over the world, and yet when i read your Dad’s obituary I was again 10 years old playing school in the garage.
I just wanted you to know that your parents kindness has never been forgotten by me.
My thoughts are with you
Michelle (Belliveau) Thomas
