My deepest condolences to the Dean Family. Throughout my life I have had the pleasure of meeting Peggy on a number of occasions, the latest being my parents 60th wedding anniversary gathering held at my home. My parents, Joan & Robert Campbell who have both passed now, were deeply touched that she attended there celebration. I know that she will be deeply missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I was saddened to hear of Peggy’s passing. I remember my Mom (Eileen Spear) telling many stories over the years of the fun and often hilarious times she spent with Peggy at Highland. It was very touching to see Peggy at my Mom’s memorial in 2007. My heartfelt condolences to the entire family.

To all the family (and there are a LOT of you !)our deepest sympathies. I was just thinking of her last week and the great times we had sledding down the “big” hill in your back yard after our hayrides.Mom’s best friend. The last of the “wild bunch” has passed. Love to all Diane
We haven’t seen Mrs. Dean for a couple of years but we seen a lot of her over the last 20 years at the store getting her glasses or getting them fixed. A truly lovely lady, always with a smile and a kind word. She will be missed.
Our condolences and thoughts go out to the family. Peggy was a great friend and I will sorely miss her, but have some wonderful memories.
She is at peace now.
Sincerely,
Jean and Bob McDaniel
I would like to express my sincerest sympathy to your family in the loss of your Mother. Your Father and my husband were Lodge members together and we shared many good times.
We send our deepest sympathies to your family from ours. The Dean’s hold a special place in our hearts and Peggy will be missed by all. We have many fond memories of our parents (the “wild bunch” as Dianne Waller called them) living life to the fullest. Peggy is at peace now but is surely enjoying good times once again with her friends. Our prayers are with you.
My sincere sympathy Jan, Carol and Joan. You have lost a sweet, loving, beautiful mom who stayed young at heart always. I will never forget all the wonderful times we shared at her home and the love that oozed from all of you for each other.
I am out of town or would love to be with you to celebrate her wonderful life.
I think of you all every time I drive by her house.
Let’s have a game of bridge some day in her honour.
Hugsszzzzzzz,
Louise
So sad to hear of Peggy’s passing. She was a lovely lady with a big heart. I can’t make the celebration tomorrow but I will be there in spirit – tell a good story for me!!!!
We are remembering all the happy times with your family and ours…..the hockey nights, the card games, the barbeques, the fireworks, and many more.
Thinking of you at this time.
The Lauder children
We have very fond memories of Peg and Marg and Rita and Hazel (my mother) getting together for lunch before going to the Grand Bend Playhouse. They culminated the season with with husbands staying behind to enjoy the day at the cottage and a BBQ dinner afterwards, my brother Paul playing host. We will always remember the support that Peg and Marg and other IODE members gave to my mom after my dad passed away, and the lunch they organized after my mom passed away. Peg will be missed.
My sincerest sympathy is with the Dean family at this time. I knew Peggy through curling. She was a kind and caring person and I will always remember her fondly.
We were shocked and saddened to learn that Peggy had passed away. She was a wonderful neighbour for 25 years. We will never forget her kindness and generosity to our family, when a year after we moved in, we found out that Joan needed to have two complete hip replacements. Our children were 3 1/2 and 6 years old at the time. Peggy offered to bring a complete meal every week from soup to dessert for the family. And what a meal it was! She was an excellent cook, and having that meal prepared by Peggy made it taste even better. Joan was talking to Peggy about two weeks ago, during one of her outings on Jarvis Street. We will miss knowing she is there and seeing her going up the street on nice days. Sincerely, Joan & Peter Nicholas & Family
We would like to extend our sincere sympathy to you on the loss of your Mom. Peggy was a wonderful friend to my Mom (Funny Philly) and we have very fond memories of her kindness and support.
Thinking of you at this difficult time.
