PULHAM, Jean Morrison (nee Brawn) passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in her 85th year. Born April 1, 1927 in St. John, New Brunswick, Jean was a devoted wife and mother, a pioneering Dietitian, a tireless volunteer and a loyal and fun-loving friend to many. She was a dynamic individual who enjoyed music, reading and travelling and who lived her life full of integrity, humour, acceptance and strong values. Predeceased by her husband Donald (1994) and daughter Lynn (1964). Proud mother to James (Edmonton, AB), Stephen and his wife Tami (Burnaby, BC), and Melissa and her husband Richard (Collingwood, ON). Loving Grandmother to Alyson (Clay), Jennifer, Ariellyn, Tyler, Willow, Emma, Benjamin and Sabine. Great grandmother to Aiden and Cora. Special thanks and appreciation to Dr. Quigg, the Physicians and Nursing staff at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital and the Chartwell Georgian Traditions staff for all of their care. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service in the chapel on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 10 a.m. at A. Millard George Funeral Home , 60 Ridout Street S., London. Reception will follow at A. Millard George facilities. Donations to the Alzheimers Society, 435 Windermere Road, London, ON N5X 2T1 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 123 St. George Street, London, ON N6A 3A1 would be appreciated. My deepest sympathy to the family of Jean Pulham. I first met Jean many years ago in the dietetic dept of Westminster Hospital and have fond memories of her friendliness, good humour, and of our times together. It was a privilege to know her. Sincerely Jean Keating
