So sorry to hear about your brother Joan. I had met him a few times when you were living beside me in Tiverton. My deepest sympathies to you.
From Carolyn (your neighbor from Tiverton)
I mowed lawn for Bill and Lillian when I was growing up in Auburn. I remember sitting with them having tea and oatmeal cookies, hearing Bill’s stories about warplanes and the complaints about the neighbor and Canadian satellite service. His pride in his big cars, and his cocky nephew who told the boss he was out for his job (he was very proud of you). I visited for tea whenever I made it out to Auburn. I hope he is buried close to Lillian as he had designed a stone with them fishing together. I also hope his will was up to date and his estate went to charity as were his wishes. He would roll over in his grave if he found out his estate was inherited by the government. He quit smoking because he hated to pay the government so much. As I haven’t met any of the family other then his sister Joan, I don’t know how well you knew Bill in his final years, but if you need any info, please contact me, and please take care of his cats.
