We have had the pleasure of meeting Pat and Gar through our daughter Erica and her partner Ben. We were welcomed into the family and enjoyed every visit we had together. Gar was so enthusiastic about life and loved to travel and we heard many a story of his and Pat’s adventures. We were honoured to have met him and he was a great person, we will miss him greatly. Our deepest sympathy to Pat and all the family. Laura and Rick House
Gar was not only a great man, but a great grampa. Even though I didn’t see him often, he never forgot a birthday or holiday. He was always so full of life, and always happy. I will never forget his smile. I will miss him greatly, he will forever be in my heart. RIP Grampa
Love always, Bekka
Uncle Garnet was our “cool” uncle, who took time to play with my brother and I when our family first came back to Canada and our Dad was still in England. I’ll remember him for introducing us to Simon & Garfunkel recordings, taking me under-aged to see The Graduate, taking me to work with him on the trains, taking me skating, tobogganing and many camping trips. His generosity to us boys was greatly appreciated and never forgotten. With Love from his nephews JC & Michael
