I Remember Reta,
I remember moving into my house on Shaver Street and I remember thinking what a nice older couple our neighbours are, that was 1968.
I remember Reta and Roy liking me when my parents didn’t’.
I remember Reta making the best and biggest cookies.
I remember one summer it was so hot, Reta actually went into our pool and her hair remained perfect.
As I got older I remember thinking – how come Reta looks the same as she did in 1968?
I remember Reta and Roy being at every important day of my family’s life and thinking how lucky we are.
I remember Reta always had pictures of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She knew all their names, birthdates and what was new in their life and I remember thinking I only have 2 kids and I get confused. But most of all I remember it always being Reta and Roy – Reta, you will be missed but you and Roy will always be remembered.
P.S. Roy, sit up straight and tidy up because Reta is coming.
Love to All

Reta was a favourite niece of our mother and spent a lot of time with us at the farm. She was always a very classy and elegant lady that cherished her family.
We share in your grief, Brian and Valerie. We had the opportunity to meet Reta at your anniversary celebration. We are happy to have had that chance. Know that we care.
Love your friends Margie and Derek
