Jim, Marg and family,
Sorry to read of the passing of your father, grandfather, great-grandfather. I am sure he will be greatly missed by all.
Prayers and blessings
Carol Wingerden
My deepest sympathies.
Dear Jamie, Rosemary, Andy and Paul,
We have so many wonderful memories of our shared youth as neighbours and friends. Your father and our father had a similar philosophy of child rearing, firm but with a sense of humour and boundless love. Whether we were home, at the cottage or off on an adventure together we knew your Dad would call us back with his trusty bugle! He will be missed and we extend our condolences to you and your loved ones.

Hey Gus, its hard to put into words the loss of your dad “Bob”. Losing your dad is a hard thing and I,m sorry I,m not there for you at this tough time. I will never forget the super times I spent with Bob at “Apple Gate”, St Anthony, Ruthven and of course Port Franks. Even while driving to Florida I was telling “Bob tales” to Evelyne and we had a good laugh. He had some classic lines “well men its to go”, “that boat has nice lines” and of course when stuck in traffic “hey lady get the finger out” .I will remember him fondly, he was one of the “Greats”.
Sincerely
Eric
Rose and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Marg and family

Bob, Anne and family
Stevens family…i am so sorry to hear of your father’s passing … i was his house cleaner for a few years just after your mother died … he was a true gentleman through and through … it was an honor to keep his home for him… he told me about his travels , especially the Olympic games in Greece with his family .. he loved you all very much…
My condolences to you on the passing of your father / great grandfather – my mother’s first cousin. Although our paths never crossed, I have pictures of Bob in his early life with his sisters, Margaret & Dorothy and of my uncle, George Kidd, at your grandmother’ss cottage in Erieau. In the 1960’s my mother and I spent weekends in Chatham visiting my Great-Aunt Rose and cousin Dorothy. It is unfortunate that we never got to know you over the years, life seperating our paths. However, please know that my thoughts & prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time. We lost Bob’s cousin, my mother, barely 3 months ago at the age of 101. It is a tragic loss to lose a loved one.
We send our condolences to all the family. Regretfully we are unable to attend Uncle Bob’s funeral service.
Our prayers are with all of you during this time of sadness. May you enjoy the fond memories of his life.
Jim and Marg, Rosemary, Andy and Barb, Paul and Susan, Sarah, Marianne, Becky, Ryan and Derek : I was sorry to hear that “Grandpa Stevens” had passed away. It’s always difficult to say goodbye to a parent and to realize that an era has ended. I will always picture Bob and Miriam at the beautiful farm and remember their gracious welcoming of “the Vigrass clan” to their home.
Sincerely,
Maureen Vigrass Maguire

We were sorry to hear about Bobs passing. The country lost another great WWII Vet. Because of the courage of people like Bob, the world is a better place.
Sincerest condolences to your family. With affection, Cousin Sheila and Ted Edmonds
