We have shared many an opportunity to enjoy the friendship of Mrs. G. through her children, especially our friends John and Susan. We will miss the visits to the penthouse but will always fondly remember the good times, good food and good wine that was part of Margarets fine hospitality. Our sincere sympathies to all the family on the passing of a very vibrant lady.
Sincerely,
Ron and Ruth
My sincere condolences to the family at this very sad time. I had the pleasure of meeting Margaret, a wonderful lady through her daughter Lizzie. I admired her strength and her kind spirit. She was fortunate to have experienced the pleasure of two beautiful great-grandsons. She has made an ever-lasting impression as a role model never to be forgotten. She is in my thoughts and prayers. God bless.
Our deepest sympathy to you at this sad time. One is never “old enough” to lose one’s mom… You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers… Love, B&L
So sorry to hear that mom has passed Liz. I never had the pleasure to meet Mrs. Gilpin, but heard wonderful things about her through your stories. She was lucky to have had such a caring and loving daughter to be there for her. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sadness. Carol
Dear Liz and Ray, my thoughts
and heartfelt sympathy are with you at this time.
No matter the age, it is still a dear loss to lose one’s mother. Having met your Mom I sensed she was a beautiful person, woman and mother. Still ‘sharp as a tack’ and worldly wise. Her love of music was palpable.
I am honoured to have met her if only briefly. Liz, we are all with you in our thoughts and prayers.
Even Sorrow has its Season.
Sincerely,
Brendan

I was so sorry to learn of your Mother’s recent passing. On the occasions I had the opportunity to meet her it was obvious how close you were and how much her family meant to her.
May the many pleasant memories you have of your dear Mother carry you through these difficult times. You will certainly be in our thoughts and prayers.

You are in our thoughts and prayers…Hope to touch base with you soon
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I have many fond memories of church gatherings at Christ Church in Delaware, and your mom and my mom (Ellen) doing so many things together in and for the church. May you also treasure all your memories.
Dear Peter and Family
It’s been about 43 years since I enjoyed that great lunch at your Mom’s after taking a job at Clarke Road. She was a wonderful person and I was very sad to hear of her passing. Lots of great memories,Peter. Let’s get together in St.Marys sometime for lunch when the weather gets better.Your old pal Roy.
I met Mrs. Gilpin a few years ago when my aunt was in town. She was a very lovely lady and treated me very well. It was a pleasure to have met her and my thoughts are with your family today.
