My deepest sympathy to Joan’s family.
Joan was a true lady and gentle soul whom many of the teachers in London adored. I’ve known her for years and always admired her many strenghths and her kind personality.
I sometimes saw her when she was at Waverley. She will be truly missed.
Our memories keep her with us always. God bless,
Mary Vernon

Dear Catherine & John, Eileen & Bruce and families;
Just a few words of sympathy on the passing of your mom. I have vivid memories of her, her voice, her laugh. I’m so grateful to all our parents for putting up with our antics, and giving us each other! My thoughts are with you all.
Love,
Dawn
To the family of Mrs. Fletcher. I remember her as a warm, caring and kind person. She was a great teacher and mentor. I will always carry her in my thoughts as I have all these yrs. never to be forgotten…..
Catherine & Eileen: My deepest sympathy on the death of your mom. How I remember Fred & Joan and all of our parents at the Married Couples Club at the church, the card parties and bazzars. It’s the passing of an era. I am certain you will miss her greatly.
To Joan’s dear family,
I live in Fred and Joan’s former home on Cathcart. From time to time I ran into Joan in the neighbourhood, and enjoyed our friendly chats. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
