Pigeon, Leo Arthur
Peacefully at Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre, Owen Sound, Ontario. Born January 22, 1922 in Owen Sound but resided in London, Ontario for the last 60 years. He will be greatly missed by his two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Kuehnbaum of Burlington and Mary Henderson of London, and also all his nieces, nephews and many friends. Predeceased by his loving wife Elaine (nee Daum), brother John (Jack), and sisters Frances Gow, Marion Pigeon, Patricia Brown, and Marjorie Bowering. Leo Served overseas in the RCAF (1942-1945) in England, India, North Africa and with RAAF in Italy and Gibraltar. Friends will be received by the family 1 hour prior (12:00 – 1:00 pm) to the funeral service being conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Tuesday, January 18th at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow. My Sympathy to the family.
My husband, Jack Brindley, worked for Leo at National Revue. Jack had great respect and admiration for Leo. And after they retired they enjoyed many rounds of golf together.
