My condolences to your family. My mom, Shirley McKinlay(nee Thompson) wishes me to express her sincere sympathy. She worked with your mom many years ago at Loblaws when they were just teenagers. They enjoyed dances and going to the malt shoppe together as well.”June was great fun and a wonderful friend” my mom said. June kept in touch with Shirley all these years with letters, cards and phone calls and she will miss those contacts dearly. With heartfelt prayers. Shirley and Ronalee

June was a member of my family. She gave me so much support through my life….my children said she was a grand mother to them….they loved her so. She had an unwavering faith …she lived her life by the gospel values…thank-you for sharing your mother with me and my family.
Dear Charmaine, Anne, Gloria, April and Nancy. Sue and I will be missing our last remaining auntie. We both always so admired Auntie June and her kind loving ways. I still see her in London in her knee socks and bermuda shorts, busy in her kitchen. What wonderful memories we both have of her. I guess we are the Aunties now. Gentle blessings to all of you and your families.

To Charmaine, Ann, Gloria, April and Nancy:
I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt June and my sympathies go out to you all with the loss of your Mom. I have fond memories of the annual Skinner reunions in London from when I was a child. I lived in London for a short time in the early 80’s and saw Aunt June then but then lost contact. It would be great to reconnect with you. Unfortunately, illness prevented me from attending last week. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.
Love,
Kristen
Charmaine,Gloria,Ann,April and Nancy,
I was so sorry to hear about your Mom. I have such fond memories of sleepovers and seances in the basement of your house and the toasted peanut butter and marshmellow treats she used to make us. She was always so kind to all your friends. A really wonderful person.
My thoughts are with you all.
