SMITH: Lloyd Kendall:
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Victoria Hospital, London, with his family by his side. Husband of Audrey (Little) Smith. Loving father and grandfather of Dan (Brittany, Jacqueline and Taylor), Lynne Hevey (Jeremy and Ryan), Wendy and Jim Kipp (Jessica, Addison and Cassandra) and Mike and Sue (Patricia, Danielle and the late Sarah) Predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Edith Smith and his brothers and sisters, Jean, Harold, Blanche, Ralph, Ruth and Marie. Also loved by his friend Anna McCoskery. Lloyd will be remembered mostly for starting and running a wholesale fruit and produce business called L & H. Smith Fruit Co. Ltd. in London for many years and his love for watching his son Dan’s race horses. Special thank you to dad’s nurses, Sandy and Teresa for their wonderful support these past few years. He will be sadly missed by all. Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9 pm Tuesday and 10 to 11 am on Wednesday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday, December 29th at 11:00 am. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 442 Adelaide Street, North, London, ON N6B 3H8. On line condolences accepted at www.amgfh.com

I enjoyed chatting with Lloyd whenever he dropped by Smith Fruit. He always had a smile on his face and was warm and cheerful.
Our deepest condolences to the whole Smith Family. Mr Smith was a well repected man and I always looked up to him and always listened to what he had to say. He taught me lots in life and work. He will be missed. Again, my condolences and my prayers are with you all in this time of grief.
