Dear Sally,
I am so sorry that I will not be able to come to the funeral home. However I want you to know that I am thinking of you at this time. Your father had a full life and of course I do like to read obituaries and find out about people’s lives.
You were ever faithful to your father, Sally. He was lucky to have you.
We will get together in the New Year and visit. Thank you for your card and thoughtfulness to me this past year.
sincerely,
Janet
